In performance mode this new adjustable link is 1.25mm longer than stock to stiffen the initial part of stroke for better control and less wallowing in rough sections track. Brand new Ride Engineering 2005 2026 Yamaha YZ125/125X/250/250X. As a by product of its longer length , our YZ link lowers the rear 10mm and comes complete with bearings seals. NOTE: This setting is NOT recommended for aggressive track use, the shock will bottom out much easier due to added leverage produced by this longer distance.

With the Ride Link, less effort is required to initiate turn-in and it helps keep bike going straight in whoops allowing Rider be more aggressive. This setting is great for trail riding or smaller less experienced Riders. Front to rear balance is improved, handling improved particularly in flat and off-camber turns, driving the bike forward instead of sliding sideways. The rear of the motorcycle also feels more planted in breaking bumps.
