After about 3000 miles on that shock, I had to go up 1 position on the springs. Pressurized gas shocks do these shocks are worth there weight in gold.

They were always bottoming out. Oil shocks don't rebound on there own. Replaces Arctic cat part number, , and fits Arctic cat model's 1997 jag 340, jag 340 deluxe jag 340 and 440, jag 340 and 440 deluxe jag 340 deluxe, jag 440 and jag 440 deluxe mountain cat mountain cat 600 efi mountain cat 600 efi le mountain cat 600 le panther 340, panther 440, panther550 puma, puma deluxe, puma 2 up. Part number retails for I once had a 1994 Arctic cat pantry which came through with regular oil shocks.

Comes with bushings on both ends and the bottom spring adjuster. You can buy this one for a lot less than a regular Arctic cat oil shock. I had the springs in the stiffest position. That convinced me of Kimpex pro gold gas shocks.

After about 1000 miles I had enough of that so I put on a Kimpex pro gold gas shock on the rear arm and I had to put the springs in the lightest position and it took a huge bump to bottom out.
