Gas pro suspension shock su282 rear shock approximate measurements extended to closed bottom eyelet opening 1 I used this in my '84 Phazer. The springs on the snowmobile controls the shock's expansion. There is no spring in the shock piston that is how it is supposed to be.

Item is used but there is plenty of dampening action.
