There is a little play where the strut rods bolt to the housing on the tops under rubber caps, would likely be fine to run them as is or one could pull the top nuts washer and put another washer under there to take up the play but overall they are in reasonable used condition with normal signs of use and age, some scratches rust, and some damage to rubber covers, see pics. Struts feel good, not bouncy.
